ICED CARAMEL LATTE REVIEW

Coffee and me, we dont always have this kind of relationship. I used to despise coffee, especially when it forced me to have gastric attack where I was sent to emergency unit. My stomach bloated so much, it compressed my organ that I could hardly breath. 

But that was 2010, it has been a decade and sum and now I have quite a healthy relationship with coffee. It satrted with microdosing myself with caffein little by little each year and now here we are and I could defo chug a 2 shots if I want to.

On the journey of finding the right coffee, I have been lucky to somewhat discovered the right amount of bittersweet that suit my tastebud. Iced caramel latte. 

I do not care what a coffee snob have been preaching (I"m looking at you, Timm sweatheart), I will always like my coffee sweet and caramel-y, and caffeinated of course.

1. San Fransisco Iced Caramel Latte

Yes, it is number 1. The perfect amount of bitterness from the shots and the equally perfect dosage of caramel. I have not tasted anything better yet, so SF is my go-to so far.

Score: 95.5%

2. M&S Salted Caramel Latte

Nope. Its a nope for me. The coffee tasted watered down amd the caramel practically not-existant. 

Score: 42.5 %

3. Krispy Kreme Iced Caramel Latte

The shots tasted watered down too, but it was stil enjoyable. The caramel was fair. Not sure whats the difference since all coffee shop have the exact same caramel brand?

Score: 70.5 % 

4. Dunkin Donut Iced Caramel Latte

Those 1 week career at Dunkin was almost life changing, but definitely not the coffee. It was fair coffee for the price point but the creaminess was not satisfying enough for the lack of better word. 

Score: 75.5 %

5. ZUS Coffee Iced Salted Caramel Latte

Went here with the girls (Mani and Zu) after GE15. We talked about current worries, future and had a little counselling session. The coffee was secondary honestly.

Score: 55.5%

6. Tealive Iced Caramel Macciato/Latte

I was looking for some food but somehow drawn to the idea of having coffee after working out. Definitely do not do that. You might throw up, especially when the drink literally 70 percent milk and 30 percent caramel.

Score: 65.5 %

7. Coffee bean Iced Caramel Lattee

It was during the career fair that I finally went to coffee bean. I had high hope because it was expwnsive and seemes exclusive, but to my dissapointment, it sucked. Too sugary and diluted, no caramel taste. Never again. 

Score: 35.5% 

8. Kee Nguyen Coconut Milk Coffee

I was just looking around for something new & discovered this small stall with interesting menu. I have no expectation but this coffee was heavy, milky, rich, thiccc. It was good for the first few sips, then it quickly become overwhelming. Suitable when you are hungry I guess.

9. Jardin Coffee & Tea Flat White

The cafe looked interesting so we went and grab some coffee. It was good, sadly no ice but the hot one is good. I spilled some at the surau, which is a bummer but overall ot was quite good.

Score: 72.5%

10. BookExcess cafe Flat White

At this point I had coffee eveyday like nobody's bussiness, so it was crazy. Had an interview on the spot straight afyer a f2f interview so I did need coffee at that time. The coffee is great, service is great, price quite high. Overall, I enjoy the vibe.

Score: 80.5%

11. J.CO Iced Caramel Jccopucino

I was unemployed but had several job offers lining up so my confidence was at the roof. Went out to supposed job interview only to find I didnt topup so cancelled the 2nd stage interview at KL & went to city mall instead. Wanna try something new so J.CO it is. The donut looked sad but the coffee is good.
